Well, wasn't in the best of moods for it but went to psychocandy/nowhere anyway, and had reasonable fun.

spent most time upstairs, where the thorax of genre is reportedly now in a bloody pulp, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] darkstream and [livejournal.com profile] them00kking. discussed possibility of cool hair with [livejournal.com profile] cyniborg. lots of people standing upstairs - think they really need to get more stools (one is not enough).

in the end i danced to only one song - Doctorin' the Tardis by the KLF. and i only danced to that because Jon made me. tsh.

pondering going on tomorrow's outing to see the League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse. not really familiar with the tv series (it having started after i stopped watching tv). will it still make sense? (or is it not supposed to make any sense?)

today I made scones and read The Man In The High Castle. but not at the same time.

Saw The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse this evening, with [livejournal.com profile] darkstream, [livejournal.com profile] landvaettir and [livejournal.com profile] sunnie_dee. I have never knowingly watched the series - but have a vague familiarity with a few of the characters because the people on my mud think for some reason it is funny to endlessly repeat their catchphrases.

So. As a League of Gentlemen newbie, I still found the film quite funny. There were bits where it seemed everyone else was laughing and I wasn't, but not many. However, I don't think it's made a convert of me.
